In this series we have been looking at the slice backhand across a range of players, and also across a range of variations from classical to extreme.
In this article we boil it down to the model positions for the classic slice, including the checkpoints for the key positions, and how to develop your own visual images and kinesthetic feel, to hit rock solid slice backhands in all situations, especially competition.
John Yandell is widely acknowledged as one of the leading videographers and students of the modern game of professional tennis. His high speed filming for Advanced Tennis and Tennisplayer have provided new visual resources that have changed the way the game is studied and understood by both players and coaches.
