It is crazy, in my opinion one of the greatest tennis coaches in the world, and there is no video tapes of him, no information of him from the technical side. John if you didn't get the interviews from him, all this information would be lost. So thanks a lot!!! Your high speed video analysis, and your open mindedness of listening to lost of people's way of teaching maybe is one thing Robert could have learned from you!

I find it very funny that he made you turn off the audio. So I guess part of the information not being made to the public, might be more on him wanting to hide it a bit.

I did find some videos of him teaching, which really help understand the articles on this website ("Under Famous Coaches section") a little bit more. There is a website called CoachLife. One of his former students is showing what he calls the "1970s backhand". He says this is a great training aide to learning the backhand. He suggests hitting this backhand as a training aide. This is a really simple way to execute the backhand. He is sitting on the bench. I started using this technique, and my backhand way better
