  • Djokovic in Australia BUT Still Banned in US

Novaxx, er Novak Djokovic has started playing in Australia to a mixed reception, but his form seems good.

But, to the surprise of many, yesterday's TSA update would apparently ban Novak from playing in the Sunshine Open, since proof of vaccination for foreign travelers flying to the US is extend to April 10.

Hard for me to believe this stupidity still going on. But it makes the Vax police happy, so there is that.

Actually...there is no bottom to stupidity. Most people will roll up their sleeve and take their medicine happily. That is their perogative too. But when you have authorities imposing these types of rules on the masses of humanity surely you realize that George Orwell was absolutely correct in his assessment of things way back in 1947 when he wrote his futuristic and amazingly accurate novel "1984". We are here some forty years later. Forty years beyond where he predicted we would be. It's a form of soft fasicm that will reach deep into everyone's life. What am I saying? It already does.

Novak is playing for a much bigger prize than a tennis trophy. He is championing the rights of every single human being on the planet to just say no to untested and unverified injections.

I also firmly believe that Djokovic should be allowed in (to the US) provided he has tested negative.

It is utterly ridiculous that the CDC states that 2 doses of Sinovac - the totally ineffective against Omicron and subsequent variants, Chinese placebo "vaccine" - qualifies one for entry to the US.

If they're going to let you in having taken that, they should let you in having taken nothing.

Novak probably does not really care if the inane Covid restrictions keep him out of Indian Wells and Miami. He has won all the Master's 1000's twice already, and his resume is stand alone already on these 1000's. All he probably really cares about is Majors. He is good to go at RG and Wimbledon. We will see what happens US Open.

I completely disagree with him. I had childhood Asthma and ended up in the hospital for an overnight stay when I was 3 and a half. I would take ANY jab to avoid feeling like I was losing my breath. It is the most horrible feeling in the world. There is no painfree euphoria when one is unable to breathe.

Novak clearly had a different life experience. As long as he is making sure not to infect others, I am okay with it.

The problem is he was putting others at risk. Having tournaments and infecting lots of people. He felt he was above others and the illness. If he had really known what it was like to be out of breath, I am sure that he would think differently.

As I said, individual rights vs. public good. Always a tough debate.

All I can say is that 5 shots and one COVID infection later, I am glad to be on the other side of this whole thing. I really appreciate seeing others these days.

Hope all of you are healthy and enjoying the company of others!
Personally...I don't care a teeny tiny bit whether you agree with me or you disagree with me. It is good that you made a clear argument for what you believe. But you must understand this...and Novak Djokovic is a champion in this regard...you do not speak for me. Or Novax for that matter.

Spoken like a good socialist. Fortunately in the United States of America we aren't quite there yet. Socialism. Here in Sweden there is this sort of fuzzy line between socialism and a definite free capitalism. Somehow, though, Sweden decided to sit this one out. At least peripherally. There were social guidelines. Suggestions. Mandating wasn't quite in effect. Sensible people these Swedes. At times. Though they seem hell bent on joining NATO now.

You guys are doing a good job of blurring the lines there with arguments like this lame one from arturohernandez. While your condition is lamentable...to you, it actually has nothing to do with me. Throw in that the vaccines don't actually work like they were said to work and you have what amounts to one gigantic scam. A scamdemic. Complete with dubious vaccinations. But roll up your sleeve. Take your shots...take mine for that matter. I don't want it and I don't think I need it. If it is my time to go...I have had a blessed existence on this earthly plane. Thank you Lord.

Obviously you guys (you know who you are) read and march to the mainstream media reports when they haven't actually been right on anything in the past how many years? Ever? How gullible the masses are. Don't get me wrong arturohernandez...I feel bad for your situation. But it is you that have some hard decisions to make. To vax or not to vax...that is your dilemma. I don't have a dilemma. I don't take vaccinations in general, so it was out of the question for me to take this one. Mandates forcing free citizens to take it for the "good of the whole". Gestappo tactics. Nothing short of. The bad news about vaccinations are all over the internet. You couldn't possibly read them all if you read in the top 99.99 percentile of all reader...which I do. It is not possible. There are so many negative reports and damning videos it is just mind blowing how many there are. Here is a question that I asked my big sister, who is a Covid fanatic, right after this rigamoral got started.

Me: 3/23/20: "Curious as to what you might respond to this video with Bill Gates and what he says about vaccines."

            Here is Bill Gates today...backtracking:

Just one more. Elevated death surge in Germany. You've been to Germany arturohernandez:

PLEASE I'm posting this just as an update on two top players entering the Sunshine Double Masters 1K events, not a debate on global pandemics <g> ok?

US House of Representatives passed a bill Wednesday that would order the CDC to remove the vaccine requirement for non-citizens flying into the US.

Under that, Djokovic could enter Indian Wells and Miami.

BUT I believe the Senate has to agree and no parallel bill has yet been introduced in the Senate. {Do not take ANY of my explanations of how the legislature works for gosepl).

The IW "entry list" includes both Djokovic & Nadal. Early recovery description for Rafa's psoras injury would keep him out of IW as well.

              House

              Local paper on entry list

No more. It's official. International travelers to the US no longer have to be vaccinated. So, Djoko can make the US Open.

"Administration will end the COVID-19 vaccine requirements for Federal employees, Federal contractors, and international air travelers at the end of the day on May 11, the same day that the COVID-19 public health emergency ends.

I guess masks are still optional.
