I was going through the Federer stroke archive today when I noticed that some new footage, from this year's Pacific Life Open, has been added. I was looking at the new Federer forehand clips and it seems to me his hitting with a bit more bent of an arm now. A bent arm takes the stress of the arm, and I wouldn't be surprised if Federer was slowly making a change to the bent arm. In the Australian Open Semis, where he lost to Marat, Roger was experiencing a lot of forearm and wrist discomfort. What's your guys' take?

Not sure I agree. If you look at the Inside balls you'll see the straight arm--that's usually when he does it. With his rotation and relaxation I think it would be hard to make a direct corelation between his hitting arm position and any injuries--he is playing a lot of tough matches though--probably too many.
