A nice factual piece by the BBC. The takeaway for me is how Roger has benefited from being the most physically healthy (up until 12 months ago) of the three.

Very sad that Fed cannot claim complete GOAT status! I think that each will be seen as brilliant in their own way. I was watching Djokovic the other day in the final and it was not until I saw him that I began to see what his brilliance was. He seems to be like Agassi in that he can hit the short angled shot very well. He simply revealed how limited Medvedev is. Like Delpo they are just too tall.
The only type of player that really troubles him now is the Wawrinka/Thiem type of player. Someone his height who hits him off the court.
I do wonder about his ability to last five sets from here on out. This year and last year he seemed more gassed than in previous years. He might be able to shorten up points but if he is up against a big hitter who is mobile and younger, he might not be able to continue his magic escapes.
Nadal seems to have pretty much settled on collecting more clay titles for a while.
Federer would be the next Tom Brady if he can pull one off again. He was literally one ace away from another Wimbledon.

You have to believe Roger might struggle to win another Wimbledon after being sidelined for so long.
Novak can beat them all on a hardcourt or grass and looks good for another two or three slams, barring slamming balls around and hitting one of those overreacting lines folk.
It's going to be an interesting year ahead.Stotty

All talk of there being a GOAT in the sport of tennis is beyond moronic. You cannot even pretend that these modern day pretenders are playing the same game they were prior to 1984. The depth of the game today is a joke as is evidenced by the same players playing themselves in the semi-finals and finals of the same tournaments year after year. Look at the head to head matchups. How many times have the Big Three or the previous Big Four played each other. The rest of the field are vying for a place in the quarters or round of 16. Never a serious dark horse pulling through. You do not see those kinds of numbers or conditions in any other era. Another Grand Illusion perpetrated by the "science". The fake experts. The fake science. The fake news. The fake tennis. Fake...fake...fake. Tennis metaphoring life...yet again.don_budge
