  • Landsdorp discipline target

I very much enjoyed Landsdorp's article on discipline. As a high school coach, I see that many players lack the discipline from repetition that is necessary to feel confident in hitting at full speed in an actual match.

Landsdorp's target stand seems a simple and fun tool to help a student gain concentration and get instantaneous feedback. Has anyone here tried to build one?

From the small video in the section, it is hard to tell if the stand is actually strapped to the net or it just has enough weight and enough of a base to resist being knocked over.

Any advice on building such a stand would be appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure where the hell Robert got that. It looks like the remains of a backyard tikki torch.

You could knock it together with some 2 x 2s or anything else that is the right height.

      Landsdorp "stand"

It's not that complicated. He takes a rol-dri, props it against the net and sticks a cone on top. At least that's what I've seen him do.
