I just keep rereading the section in Advanced tennis on Building the Modern Forehand, The Common Elements across the grip styles. In my opinion the entire forehand is explained with perfect clarity in this section. I don't think you need anything else. Incredible! In my next life [or maybe parttime in this one] I would like to teach tennis using this section on getting students to learn the modern forehand.

i'd like to know if the elbow can be sometime behind the trunk or never during the preparation or the forward movment .
I haven't seen this in the stroke archives, is it a big default ?

It's in good alignment with about the center of the trunk. Look at the hand which is staying to the right.
