Thiem is a class act all the way, and he certainly earned this title. He had to tough out 2 very highly contested matches to win it. I am not even certain which match he had to play better. Milos also played very well, that match could have gone either way also. Thiem coming up in form for the clay season. We will see if he is ready to dethrone Nadal yet. He certainly seems to have the game to do so.

The time to rejoice is brief as the Miami Open begins this week. The weather is supposed to be horrendous.
