I do, until tennis tonight. Am debating on whether to pay the extra $!0 for the warmup drill as I did last week. I've been teaching three days a week, which is just about right. And think I'll be moving in a couple of weeks if I can just stay in my own lane until then. The thing I will miss most is having my own 12 self-feed courts, those abandoned courts at Rouge River Park which you know so well.

I have completely forgotten those courts. Life is funny sometimes. When you leave you are forgotten even quicker than you forget. But the golf course I remember. I walked out there plenty of times either by myself or with whoever else showed up for twilight golf. Imagine don_budge the racist out at Rouge Park Golf Course.

Yup, racists sometimes get along better with black people on a superficial level. But there's none of the "Once you go black, you never go back." Or the "Some day white people are going to wake up and realize there aren't enough black people to go around" of James Baldwin. Listen, I have been really upset at different points in my life and know who best helped me get past it.

Bigotry, Negativity

Yes, I'm bigoted against bigots. And negative about broken records who keep repeating themselves whatever the subject.

Negative too about the negative president, which is a positive.

As for the psychologically projective falsehood that I myself repeat myself, I don't. My conviction remains the same but always shows itself in some new permutation.

But this is not about me. Hence the solid articles I post, each giving some new facet of the horror we face.

Adding up to an accumulation of blows like consistent tennis strokes in a five-set match on red clay.

One has to believe that good people will prevail in the end. What other choice is there?

Hope, whom you met and have definite ideas about, has a daughter who is a great copywriter and good at all facets of the advertising business.
