Hi John I enjoyed your presentation of his forehand. It is a great forehand to integrate into a player's early development. Why? Because of its simplicity. All the critical components occur on the dominant side of his body. His elbow and the racquet head are clearly visible to his opponent. It couldn't be any more efficient. His elbow and the racquet head are far away from his left side. He has a great opportunity to achieve a consistent contact point. His contact point is easily reproducible. It certainly doesn't have the same degree of racquet speed as Roger but there is less that can go wrong . I really love the simple mechanics. Thanks Leon

Good point! Many players would be better off imitating this forehand than the advanced forehands they see on youtube. The other nice thing is that Mischa's forehand is setup to attack the net. So his transition game is much better.
So many young players I see on the local courts cannot hit a short ball for the life of them.
They either hit a floaty lollipop or they hit the back fence.
The idea of just taking a short swing and directing the ball away from the player is a lost art.
Mischa shows us how to bring it back.
