Notice how Ivan forms his waterwheel early. But does left hand even have to stay on racket this long or be this high near the beginning? It's going to come up anyway as rear shoulder goes down. That left hand can greatly help one achieve a full body turn whether it's on the racket or not.
And does the racket need to go this far back? I don't mean to criticize Ivan (wouldn't dare) but only to suggest to a recreational player that he probably ought just to concentrate on making his waterwheel round.
The last thing he wants is for his body to get pulled out of balance by a racket that swings rather than strokes.Last edited by bottle; 12-04-2016, 08:22 AM.
