At last? Nope...there is a lot of work to do. It appears that there are only 20 pages of the forum available. What about all of the information that we have shared before? I reiterate...the "stickies" being reproduced beyond page one is redundant. Same old threads repeated over and over while limiting access to other information. The monthly articles are nice...the high speed video is nice. But it is the forum that stimulates my interest on a daily basis.

Is this a further conspiracy? Messing with the forum as Roger Federer depends into the twilight? It is a nightmare. That is all I can say. Very frustrating.

What a shame...because if you did favor software as a substance you are certainly in a position to abuse it.

There doesn't seem to be any way to search the forum. I was trying to find the thread where kyle (klacr) posted his strokes. where is the shortcut? must i sift through page after page? 50 threads per page...minimum. Please!!!

Thanks klacr...it was a great thread. As I was scrolling through it again looking for some of the material that I wrote I went through about 10 pages and I came to a blank page...well it wasn't really blank. It had a black box with 3 and 1/2 dots in it. Strange. Ironic? Me and my three dots. But anyways I could not go forwards or backwards from there. I'm afraid that the forum is rather severely compromised and it is really a shame. It wasn't broken.

I guess I never go back into the past on the Forum and just stay (somewhat) current... I forwarded your comments to our programmer. We will see what is possible.

don_budge has a good point about the stickies repeating on every page....and that there are now less threads appearing on the first page. The more posts that fit on the first page the better because in my experience once a thread slips off the first page it rarely gets finds its way back there. You could argue the thread is dead anyway by that point, but some might not be. Once threads hit the second page they are dead. The old forum was better from that standpoint simply because there were more threads on the first page.

I often go back to older threads now many years old and find them interesting. There were more people posting back then which meant more tennis thoughts bouncing off each other. This is the essence of a good forum for me.....thoughts bouncing around.

I wonder if the forum could be promoted more. Maybe by emailing all Tennisplayer members? Tell coaches there are other like-minded coaches online to talk to and exchange methods and ideas? Tell players they can get video analysis online from Stotty and other coaches on the forum.

Yeah the two points you two make are good ones and I will pursue. I have continuously made the effort to recruit subscribers and writers to the Forum. A lot come for a while, many don't come at all. Not sure why this is.

The forum needs a search function. The old one had it, the new version should have more functionality, not less...

Titles for posts...

It used to be possible to put a title on each individual post. Still unable to search. I tried to search for "2012 Olympic Games" and unable to do so. There were more options when you opened the forum before. Search members. When viewing online forum members you could see what they were looking at. Now you only get "viewing topic" whereas before it would show what thread they were viewing.

It was actually a very interesting aspect of the "Who's Online". I don't know how many times I would see that so and so was reading some thread from the past and it made me curious enough to go and look at it. I wonder if you truly appreciate how much gold you have in that "old" forum. It never ceased to amaze me how much interesting information could be gleaned from some of those old conversations.

What about the title for every post? This was also a nice thing.

Thank you for following up on a couple of my suggestions. I think that this one aspect of the "Who's Online" should be addressed. It was something that was available on the old forum and something that was lost going with the new. Please consider...thank you.
