  • At Last! I Think!

    To All in the Forum,
I think we now have restored complete functionality... BUT if you are still having any issues do me the kindness of emailing me directly at videotennis@metricmail.com. In Toronto with the high speed camera and we have a lot of tremendous new footage.

    Notes...

Currently on the first page of the forum there are 5 "sticky" threads and 10 current threads. It seems to me that there were 20 current threads visible on the first page before. Also...on the second page of the forum those same 5 "sticky" threads are also present. Is this necessary...or is it redundant?

There used to be an indicator on each thread that hadn't been viewed by the subscriber...that also has disappeared.

As I mentioned before...in my message center there appears to be 100 posts that go against my maximum of 50 so it appears that I am unable to use the message center.

I rarely access Tennisplayer on my mobile phone but when I do I get a notification saying the website is not secure and to back out. My mobile is Android. Prior to the forum being changed this never happened.

This maybe important because I would never access a website after a warning like that. I know many do surf the Internet on mobile phones so you might want to look into it.

            increase visibility and access...

now that you have posted the monthly issue threads all of the current threads are pushed down and to the next page. it seems to me that there were twenty current threads. i suggest that you have your geniuses put 30-35 threads on a page...if that is possible. in fact...even if it is not possible. this will be an improvement and not a step backwards.

              What the heck...

Why not have 50 threads on a page and cancel the "stickies" after page one.

                Guys,
Thanks for all the feedback. Sorry we are still having issues. I have been overwhelmed with Toronto and am going to Cincy next week. Our programmer also has another big commitment this week for another client...We will persevere and see if we can improve all or some of this. Especially odd about the Android phones. What year and operating system version for you guys having trouble with that?

OK one step at a time... As you can probably tell software is one of my least favorite substances...

What a shame...because if you did favor software as a substance you are certainly in a position to abuse it.

There doesn't seem to be any way to search the forum. I was trying to find the thread where kyle (klacr) posted his strokes. where is the shortcut? must i sift through page after page? 50 threads per page...minimum. Please!!!
