    Barasetegui's forehand grip was probably the most extreme ever at the pro level. Poster jklm is correct, it was basicly a continental grip, hitting the ball with the opposite side of the racquet, some would call it a Hawaiin forehand grip. His forehand was a huge weapon, it had to be because he had the worst backhand in pro tennis, and his serve was certainly no weapon.

          Amen to that! And don't forget about that forehand--great unit turn and set-up, not that extreme of a grip, good extension. His strokes have so much acceleration and smoothness to them. My favorite parts of his stroke archive are the wide backhand and inside in forehand clips.
