Certainly brings back memories of the old days... Mine are of the smaller Beverly Hills Tennis Club. Those were days not spoiled by excessive money and press coverage. When Pancho Gonzalez and Pancho used to work out at the Beverly Hills Tennis Club, you would have half a dozen spectators.
You not only could see world class players working out, but also when you were in Beverly Hills you could often see movie actors on Rodeo Drive shopping leisurely, which would be unthinkable today. No floods of photographers and pushy autograph seekers.
It was a cozier period, the post WW II Eisenhower period.
