He was an amazing player. Such a shame there is so little footage around of his great matches.

Interesting to see both players venturing to the net off the others second serve. The plan seemed to be if you can get the return in to the feet of the incoming volleyer, then venture to the net. I am guessing the court was a quick surface not to entertain returning and staying back.

Nice to see the swerve on some of Hoad's serve to the deuce court.

Must have been murder seeing the ball under those lights...
