  • To be fair to the ladies: Suzanne Lenglen

In case we have some ladies on the forum, this is for them:

A video "Suzanne Lenglen: How I play tennis".... 1925

    Has slow motion strokes too...

Notice on the serve her good racket drop and pronation...

Absolutely awesome footage. But if there are 160 fps videos of Lenglen, there must be similar footage on her male contemporaries, Tilden and certainly the Four Musketeers.

      The most exceptional footage ever...

I have watched this a few times over. I think this is the most remarkable footage I have ever seen. Good, clear video of someone so exceptional...in 1925. It's extremely rare indeed.

      This is real tennis history.

      Superb find, Phil.

She had a great back hand overhead! VEry good player. A real path setter for many. She does down as one of the most missed, along with Edberg, Becker, Sampras, Laver, Hoad, Rosewall.
