The Beauty of Tennis...

Yesterday I watched a tennis match between Sofia Arvidsson and Julia Goerges and I realized just how beautiful tennis can be. So sublime.

Just to be clear...their techniques look to be very similar on the forehand side of things.

A couple of very beautiful young ladies slugging it out in Linz, Austria. Goerges won 6-1, 6-4. All of the men were pulling for Arvidsson to extend the match to three sets.

Big fan of Goerges. And it's certainly not because of her stroke mechanics.

Let's put it another way then...

I was sitting watching the Swedish Princess practice with her partner the other day with my partner. He said to me, "She has really nice form."

"Yes", I said, "and her technique is not bad either".

Unfortunately, I don't really see any of the women breaking through. It is Victoria, Serena, and Maria dominating. Everyone else is ok but those 3 ladies are just bigger and hit the ball harder than anyone else. Just my opinion.
