Reminds us that all matter is energy based, and mostly empty space.. Improvement is all about being able to move through the empty space of our own solid ignorance, and the application of intensity over time. I bet there is an equation we could write for any physical event. String jobs are all about energetic frequency/vibration/stiffness/frame interaction with impact, location of impact on string bed, length of string notching the most, elastic recoil of that string. Tension is just another word for frequency modulation.
Go out the next time you practice and focus as much as you can on your energy level, that is, coil quicker, with more speed, wait "faster" for the ball to arrive in unit turn mode, and uncoil faster off the hip than you normally do. Ignore all else, such as the errors you will make, and focus on the goal of intensity in your own internal body rhythm, it's internal speed of coil and uncoil. Focus on the relaxation of the upper body, arms, shoulders, hands and wrist, and "see" inside your upper body during practice and intend to relax it more during points and while hitting shots. (Energetic relaxation is key to all shot speed.) Foot work and foot speed has to remain up on all shots, even incoming slower ones or low balls. Ignore the string job, as the methods I've posted on that topic are already up in other threads. The frame will wobble more on harder hit shots, and vibrate more. Notice it. If you can truly do that, and forget about the score vs. the goal of energy focus, you will have a different experience.
Having a great day has everything to do with energy. Hand speed is more changeable than most realize.
