    Well, it would be my contention that there is more or less an inverse relationship between speed and spin. And so if the speed of the guys shots are equal to, or greater than (as i suspect), but with double the spin rate, the shots are alot heavier, and allow for a widening of the court.

        There is no debate here--men hit the ball with way more spin. All you need to do is watch them play live.
