  • Battery operated tennis ball machines

Would like to purchase a battery operated, reasonably easily transportable tennis ball machine for my High School player. Anyone have any recommendations or warnings?
    Thanks!

I can't offer too much advice because I have only ever bought one machine. But I can advise you NOT to buy the one I have. Do NOT buy the Wilson Portable.

Changing the battery on this machine is like hell on earth...indeed any kind of maintenance is a pain to carry out. It also loses power over a few months of use. I contacted the supplier who suggested sanding the wheels that shoot out the balls...to increase their grip on the ball... but this did little to increase the power.

I cannot offer help on what to buy, but don't buy the machine I did.

I have a brand new one: Lobster grand elite V with remote. Sells for $2,500-2,900 with remote. Top of the line, with many programmed patterns, and remote controlled. I'd let it go for $2,200.
