The obvious conclusion from the article: lubricate the intersections only, or lose the grab due to the slippery oil affecting the entire string bed. (A wax pen?>) Why was there no mention of the material science behind the german copoly evolution vs. the alum. fluorocarbon resin of luxilon strings? No comparison of tension loss either: say, sppp and why it retains tension better than any other copoly, vs. more powerful copolys, and their extreme tens. loss such as cyber flash, alu power, tour bite, vs. blue gear which holds tens. better but is harsher on the elbow/arm. That is the direction I would have taken in my article. Something we all can use and relate to: our string costs and injury issues related to string technology.
