Flipping

Great! Is there anywhere on the site that you talk about this connectivity to phone or ipad? Looking forward to Macci's articles. I did buy his forehand video . I see Ryan Harrison, Berdych with thumb down all the way to the end of the backswing and then I see Federer with thumb facing the side at the begginning and then thumb going down during the backswing. It seems to me that there is independant arm movement to take the racquet from the begginning of the stroke to the end of the backswing. Is this correct? Or do you start the racquet with an semi-western grip and unit turn and then just extend your arm to pat the dog. I tend to pull on the handle and bring it to pat the dog as I'm unit turning. Is thumb down in the backswing a trait of the B,E.S.T forehand? Or is palm down enough? Palm down will go from neutral wrist at the end of the backswing to flip to radial deviation but the thumb down will go from ulnar deviation to radial deviation for more flip, or maybe I am flipping trying to understand this and you could just tell me where should my thumb be in the backswing? thank you, alex

I bought Gordon's presentation dvd on the backhand, and it is very interesting, he explaind the flip, and the different ways they occur, Nadal and Djokovic, do it differently, if I remember correctly there are 3 movements related to the BH flip... so I am also looking forward to how he is going to present it to Tennisplayer.net

There is no need to talk about the connectivity. Just go to the site on the phone or the pad. That's it.

As for the other questions I think you are making it far, far too complex. When you see Rick's version I think it will seem much easier. But for me just a strong unit turn, then take the hand and arm slightly outside on a diagonal with the face tilted right and slightly closed. Now pull the butt.

In my mind it's crazy to talk about exact angles of dog pat etc. Compare pro players try to find out exact positions, etc. Make sure that you put the horse before the cart and make a strong body turn with the left arm across and then that simple backswing move.

I have tried to use a search engine against the word Nadal.
I got the message below
Do I do something wrong?
I do NOT understand the error message
PS It is failing on a word backhand as well

Little problem

Good afternoon,
I have a problem "seeing" one "pattern/video"
I go to Pattern Archive
I go to High Def/Roger Federer
I click first serve video
I click the first item
I get (after 30 secs) a blue circle with a question mark inside
There are two possibilities:
1.the item is missing
or
2.I am missing a component of serve on my laptop
Please let me know what do you think
