Is it possible to check at your end on a PC?

Not that I am aware, but will inquire. You could start your own list though! Seems as if you are digging in deep--that's great!

    Marking read articles.

I don't know if this has already been addressed, but is there a way to mark which articles have already been read? So many times I open an article and start reading, only to realize I've already read that article. And when there is a series, it's tough keeping all the articles straight and remembering which ones I have already read. That's compounded when there are several different authors writing articles on the same topic, e.g. the modern forehand.

No worries--a bit of an anticlimax from the instructional point of view don't you agree?

Correct! Although there may be some where a second volley was missed on the back court guy hit a pass.

what happens after the video stops?

    John,

I have been going through and watching all of the vids for the approach and volley. Many times the vid stops after the player has hit a volley. When that happens am I to assume that the other player missed the next shot and the player in the video won the point?

    Thanks!

Right it's personal. If the racket is too heavy you lose speed and are late getting to the contact point. If it's too light you have to swing faster to generate speed. Experienced players I think trust their feelings regarding these issues. But it never hurts to experiment.

My racquet weighs, 11.3 ounces strung and is 4 points headlight..so I believe it is similar to yours, not heavier... any idea what the ranges of racquet weight are for university women players?I know you said it is personal and I wonder why do you play with 11.5 and not 12 or 11 ounces? or you just adapt to any of these weights and just play.. so not rocket science, just a matter of not exagerating in going to low or high and adapting to it?thank you, alexandra

    Alexandra,

My answer is I can't give you an informed opinion. It's too individual and I have never seen you hit. Video would help but wouldn't be definitive.

Personally I am playing with rackets that weight less--11.5 ounces strung--the newest version of the Agassi racket. Flexi, and more head light. Honestly this is better for most players but not all. Strings of course change everything and are a huge factor.

Tennis Warehouse Europe may have a free demo program.

    Racquet weight

    John.

I play with the new model of the Nadal racquet(330 g strung). My opponents all play with lower weight racquets and am told I should play with a lower weight racquet, as not to tire as much ... I dont feel tired and , and thought that if I adapt well to this weight, the better in the long run.
ps: how do I know what the best weight is(I dont have access to trial racquets), at the Portugal Open, I saw many WTA players, play with this racquet and my friend said, that I cannot derive the same power and therefore this racquet is wasted on me and that I should play with about 290 g. Am I possibly hindering my progression or perhaps helping my progression with this racquet?
I am an athletic veteran player and wondered what your opinion is on this topic, Thank you,
    Alexandra
