I actually think his heel pad kind of off the end of the butt of the grip may play into his hitting configration also. Players that have as strong a semi western as Novak, Sock, and Kyrgios I really don't think could really work an extended elbow forehand.
Nadal's is a bit scary when when being escorted by officials to a match at Wimbledon. You instinctively know you can't approach him. He's focused and would probably punch your lights out if you asked him about his grip. But away from the match scenario he's a very nice man. I would have no hesitation in asking him about his grip if I caught him after a practice session. I just know he would be happy to show me or anyone his grip. I cannot believe no one has yet approached him about it. Looks like I might have to be the first.

When I saw him last from fairly close range it didn't seem that far round? The heel pad is also tricky reference point when the heel pad itself hanging so far off the grip, as is the case with many players, not just Nadal.
I made Nadal plumb on bevel 4.
One thing I like about Verdasco is all his hand sits on the grip with nothing hanging over the edge.

Hi John. Was checking out the Pete Sampras 2-step volley page but no videos show up on my iPad or on my computer

Good question! Your observation is more recent. If so it means he is less extreme now than Djokovic...

I keep setting in my user profile that I only want 10 pages per search, and it resets it to forum default, so that I get up to 600 pages!

Good question. Personally I never use them. Manish is in India but let me see what I can find out.
