  • Guga's forehand grip

    John,
What bevel are Guga's heel pad and index knuckle on. To me, it looks like his heel pad is between bevels 3 and 4 and his index knuckle is on 4. If so, his forehand grip is just a bit more western than Agassi's, which wouldn't be all that extreme. Maybe I'm seeing it wrong though. Is it possible for you to post pictures of Guga's grip the way you did for Roger in the Federer forehand article?

I guess I'm the only one who cares about Guga still, LOL.

Count me in too, kids. I'm a Guga rooter.

He's got a couple different forehand grips. Most look way western to me (index base on 4th bev. at least), except of course when he changes at the last second and goes eastern or something for that evil drop shot of his. I call that his Maria Bueno impression.

Yeah agree about the knuckle and bevel 4. Not sure about the heel pad--need to take a closer look to answer that when I have the time. Would be great to see him get one more bump somewhere...

Thanks and your English is fine...How about we come to Rome next year? We would very much like to start filming on clay--as this work becomes more widely known and accepted undoubtedly we will be able to film events around the world!
