    I'm new subscriber to your site. I love it. Keep up the good work
    Every section. All the writings. your explanations. your colleagues. 1st rate !

    I'm an older fellow who has played lots of squash and racquetball when younger, I've now taken up tennis. But very difficult to get my forehand established. Most frustrating. As you know it can be. Until the great day I found your writings.

    Your site is just what I need. Bravo !!

    Mr. Yandell:

    I’m a new subscriber and I’m enjoying the site. So far this qualifies as a rare circumstance in life – that a thing is actually far better than I imagined it would be.

      Establishing your forehand...

      ...Requires "forgetting" much of the way wrist behaves in squash (and racquetball I presume) when making a shot on the same side (forehand), as well as on the backhand

      Muscles and nerv-system tends to be "slow" at forgetting the old ("wrong") habits, as tennis mechanics translated to reality are much about kinesthetic sense.

      Hope that you can find someone seasoned and sound in knowledge of stroke mechanics and teaching methods and methodics to identify what is hindering you from establishing well rounded, sound forehand you can rely on.

      If someone records your forehand in video, you might get a lot of good help here.

      Welcome to the wonderful world of tennis

      Never stop learning;

      Best Regards;
