Well I kind of have a abreviated motion, i bring the racket right to were it needs to be and let it rip. I try not to have any wasted motion.
Yes my pronation does look a little strange. Iv'e been trying to figure that out myself.
I have another picture that looked strange to me , but what do you think.

Why do u think an initial part is a wasted motion?

I dont' know were a racket need to be, i feel were a racket need's to be.
I dont know what initial part your refering to. I've herd people say my take back it different? Any example's? Pionts of something being different?

As to wasted motion in biometric's ... dont know never read the article ... all i know is what dosent need to be, dosent need to be.
Why have a big loop if you dont need one. Less potental moving parts that could go wrong. Read article about macCenro 's serve.
If it somehow gave me more power i really dont think i need it.
Consistancy and placement beats power all day long. I see pro's hit 105mph aces with good deception and placement. I dont think hitting over 118 is even nessary. If you can hit lines.

Pronation looks better! In fact tremendous. And no the wrist should not break forward by that point in your still.
To elaborate on the start. The main purpose of the the wind up and the backswing is to position the racket at the drop at the main time. At a certain point this becomes a question fo rhythm and confidence under pressure. Sometimes, players with abrubt starts have more problems with this.

Yes i thought in most pictures the rist is more bent foreword at the completion of the pronation.
And the rist picture took me as odd at first because a lot of times i use considerbly less pronation, Like in that video you talked about.
About the short wind up, My rhythm is pretty good, but that is mostly accounted for by, my very low ball toss. I think.
I believe my ball only drop 4-6 inches?
Which dosent allow for a pause im my motion, it kinda keeps going.
Is having a low ball toss a disadvantage?
