Kovacevic is in the final vs FAA. He has had 2 great wins in the quarters vs Bublik, and in the semis over Rublev. He really has a beautiful one handed backhand, great topspin and slice off that side.

Shame Kovacevic folded a bit in that final set tiebreak. I thought he might win that match. He's great off both wings. If I tried to hit my one-hander as hard as Kovacevic I'm pretty sure it would end up in the stadium. He has a good temperament. You can't tell whether he's winning or losing by his body language. FAA played well in the tiebreak and served well in the third set. A good win for him.

God job the match isn't in the US...they'd be tariffs on FAA's prize money.

Saw Kovacevic beating Rublev but not yet the final. How can he be 26 years old but I can't remember seeing him play before?
That backhand is stunning. Announcers kept comparing him to Fed but the power in his backhand seems more like Stan Wawrinka.

P.S. Good joke. More likely ICE would grab FAA mid-match and deport him. Quite possibly to the wrong country. Sigh
