I don't think I've ever seen this combo described, let alone in advance. Sports journalist Gill Gross on Jan 1 noted one of the more unusual match-ups.
In Brisbane, Jan 1, Giovani Mpetchi Perricard, the ace leader on tour, faced Frances Tiafoe the tour leader in giving up aces. Sort of the unresistable force meets the unresisting object? Foe yields 12.9% aces while Gio gets 19.3 aces per match
Turned out as one might expect: Gio got 20 aces on only 50 serves in, or 40% of his serves that landed were aces, winning in a set and a tiebreaker, vs Tiafoe ranked 18th.

1 of 2 Tiafoe coughs 'em up. Post by Gross, table by Tennis Abstract.
