Tough on finalists here to go on to Cinci. I remember one year, Fed won the final, took a private jet to Cincinnati and was actually scheduled to play first thing the next morning.

This is ridiculous. Rublev and Popyrin are scheduled to meet tonight in the Rogers Cup/ Montreal finals, while Cincinatti starts round one of the main draw this morning.

Rublev at least has a bye in Cincinnati, but Popyrin is scheduled to play Gael Monfils in the first round.

Ditto Toronto, where Jessie Pegula defends her title vs Anismova this evening, while Anisimova is scheduled for the first round in Cincinnati.
