First of all let me say hi to all the members and staff of this great site. I really don't know if I am posting this in a right section or not. I would just want a few tips on how to improve my backhand. I am really frustrated about my backhand stroke. I hit good and solid forehand but when a ball goes to my backhand side I completely choke. I tried one-hander, switched to two-hander and now I am switching back to one hander again. My main problem with the backhand is that my balls completely lack pace and I tend to open the racket face too much so the balls sail long. Even if I pay attention to close the racket face I am making the same mistake again and again. I can hit better pace with a one-hander but a lot of the balls fly long also and I make more mistakes with one-hander. I just can't understand how can I hit so effortles and reliable forehand but I hit a backhand that you actually hardly can call it "a backhand". Can someone give me some good tips what are the main points to hitting a good double and single -hander and what are the best articles here to check out.
