Zverev's horrific ankle injury, then return to top 10 would get my vote.

Can a player that was already top 10 qualifiy as "most improved"? If so, I'd pick Sinner.

Goran the"serve whisperer" has to get big credit for how Djokovic has changed his game in later years.
Shelton for Shelton. Awesome.
But Cahill & Vagnozzi somehow putting Sinner through 3 service motions during tournament play and ending up winning, they almost deserve it simply for having the cajones to try ! And it worked ! Plus, his net play is up OoM.

I'm vacillating on "Most Improved" between Sinner and Shelton.

Sinner has ramped up his game so much. On the other hand, he was already top 10, while Shelton has gone from 160 last October to 16th in the world, a win over Sinner, and of course Tiafoe in the US Open quarters.
