    Nice article.

    Using a cheetah as an example for stillness is a good one. Probably the most beautiful animal on earth to watch in slow motion at full pelt, and that still head, yep, just like Roger.

      Great article, one way to keep the head still on contact is to briefly close your eyes when you hear contact. Sounds crazy, but it does work. A player is far less likely to look up prematurely if his eyes are closed.

        I’m glad you both liked the article. I’ve never closed my eyes upon hearing the ball make contact before. I’ll have to give it a try!

          Warming up with the oversize youth starter tennis balls helps me zone in timing and body presence and use the principles discussed because there is time to swing slow and develop awareness.
