Just returned to find the night Djokovic vs Hurkacz match -- disappeared -- nowhere on the Wimbledon web site. I mean literally nowhere
I know the result now, but this is my process I had to go through as a fan ...
Seriously. I had to use Google to find the score. Not under Wimbledon site's "Live", because it stopped in some fashion, so I go to "Results". But it isn't under results, so that's either a mistake or it was suspended. I go to "Order" for tomorrow and it's not there. OK, they haven't had time and scheduling can take a while so ...
I go to "News". Nothing.
Ah, but Wimbledon has posted to Twitter that the match is "suspended" because, I presume, the 11 pm curfew. But with zero details.
Ah, finally! Google shows Novak won two tiebreaks. Thank you Sergey Brin.

Hurcatz probably can't believe he's two sets down after a first percentage of over 80%.
Novak is recognised for he's great defensive skills but the last couple of years have seen him defend less and less in rallies in my view. He seems to be switching much more often to dishing it out.Stotty

Up next for Chris it looks like Med. And what a superb likeable post match on court interview. He definitely has a career in broadcasting way in his future. It will certainly be all on his racquet vs Med. Can he rain down enough timely winners?

Odds are out for the final 8. Of course, Novak, Sinner, Medvedev, and Alcaraz are the favorites in their respective matches, in that order(strongest to weakest). Very interesting. If I were to take a flyer on any of the underdogs, it would be ....Chris ha.Last edited by stroke; 07-11-2023, 02:11 AM.

Chris is leading the tournament in number aces at the moment. Of course, two of the players will no longer be adding to the count. Bublik also kind of cancels out his fine serving work as he leads the tournament table when it comes to double faults...with 38.
C. Eubanks 85 aces
A. Bublik 84 aces
H. Hurkacz 82 aces
Hurkacz has hit the quickest serve of the tournament so far with a 141mph rocket.Stotty
