WTA: " Venus Williams overcomes Giorgi in three-hour Birmingham thriller"
Venus Williams battled to her first Top 50 win since 2019 in three sets against Camila Giorgi to reach the Rothesay Classic second round.
7-6(5), 4-6, 7-6(6) in 3 hours and 17 minutes.
